At Stuttgart airport take city rail (S-Bahn) lines 2 or 3 towards "Stuttgart-Vaihingen/Hauptbahnhof". Get off at "Universität", then continue on foot, or take the bus as described above. Taking a taxi from the airport, the distance is about 16 km and travel time is approximately 20 minutes.

The offices and laboratories of the BioCat Project Group
are located in the Wissenschaftszentrum Straubing, Schulgasse 16.
By train
From train station (Bahnhof) Straubing take bus line 2. Get off at bus stop "Stadtwerke". Walk in driving direction approx. 200 m, turn left into "Schulgasse".
By car
Approach via Autobahn A92 or A3:
Autobahn A92: exit Landau a. d. Isar
Autobahn A3: exit Straubing – Cham – B20
On Bundesstraße (mainroad) B20, direction Straubing, exit "Straubing Ost/Ittling".
On "Ittlinger Straße" approx. 2 km, direction Stadtmitte (city center), turn right into "St. Elisabeth Straße", direction Krankenhaus (hospital), at the end turn left into "Uferstraße". After 700 m please turn left into "Petersgasse", shortly left again. Following Petersgasse you find a new underground garage on the right hand side.

Motorway A9 Berlin – Munich, drive until the junction Rippachtal, follow the signposts to Leuna.
Motorway A38 Kassel / Göttingen – Leipzig / Dresden, exit Leuna, continue driving on B91 to Halle / Saale until you reach Leuna/InfraLeuna.
By Plane
Leipzig / Halle international airport is situated 25 kilometers from Leuna. Take a taxi to Leuna.
By Train
Leuna has an internal railroad network for goods transport with connections to the main lines operated by the German Federal Railroad (Deutsche Bahn AG). All important connections for passenger transport are in the immediate vicinity.
Rail link Halle / Saale – Erfurt, get off at station Merseburg
Rail link Leipzig – Großkorbetha, get off at station Bad Dürrenberg
Tram line Halle / Saale – Bad Dürrenberg (Linie 5), get off at station Leuna “Am Haupttor”. The tram line leaves every half hour. The journey from Halle will take 55 minutes.
