Thermochemical HEAT storage system to SAVE energy costs across a wide area of industrial applications

In the EU HeatSaver project (FP7-SME-2007-1-222116), we succeeded in developing a novel heat storage technology based on a closed adsorptive heat storage process and which could be realized on a scale ranging from 1.5 to 750 liters. In the follow-up HeatSaver Demo project, in which the Fraunhofer IGB is acting as scientific partner to the industrial consortium, the focus now lies on technology transfer and demonstrating the technology in various industrial test scenarios.
