A novel modular solar air source heat pump system



The aim of the HeatSaver project was the development of a high density heat energy storage technology to enable the efficient and reliable heat energy storage for temperatures above 80 °C.
The storage principle is a sorption process. The technology will help to reduce Europe’s demand for fossil fuels and facilitate a sustainable development. By operating alongside a combined heat and power plant (CHP) or solar heating system the HeatSaver system allows otherwise wasted heat from these systems to be stored almost loss-free and used at another time.
