Development of a sustainable and cost-effective technology for managing water quality in aquaculture

The objective of the RAZone project is to improve the productivity of aquacultures and to minimize the risks associated with the use of ozone in the treatment of recirculated water. This is achieved by improving ozone flotation technology, which must be cost-effective, easy to use and safe for fish populations and operators. RAZone innovations include a new ozone feed system that optimizes ozone dispersion in water and maximizes the contact area between gas and water. RAZone's development also includes an innovative flotation chamber that efficiently removes undissolved and colloidally dissolved particles.
