To accelerate the transfer of our technologies into practice, we present our R&D activities at trade fairs. Furthermore, we organize seminars and workshops in-house or at our cooperation partners to demonstrate project results.

    Algae Biotechnology

    The aim of this professional development programme is to provide introductory training and theory in algal biology, culturing, growth and biotechnology under laboratory and small-scale pilot facilities. The course will also offer insights and examples from an industrial and entrepreneurial perspective, that can help the participants to found or improve their own algal-based business. The delivery will be 3 full days online with lectures, discussion groups and breakout sessions for networking. The course is hosted by Fraunhofer IGB (Dr. Schmid-Staiger), Scottish Association for Marine Science und Matis.

Prof. Dr. Susanne Bailer will presented ″A new kid in the BP Cluster South Germany – Setting up the Fraunhofer IGB branch on Virus-based therapeutics VBT in Biberach″.

    Fraunhofer DDMC

    Organized by the Fraunhofer Competence Field Additive Manufacturing, the DDMC is a bi-annual cutting-edge forum for discussion on Additive Manufacturing, including its application in industry and the environmental impact of such new manufacturing technologies. Impact on health, sustainability and society will also be discussed. DDMC brings together researchers, educators and practitioners from around the world and fosters an atmosphere conducive to developing new ideas and refining already existing research developments.
