Head of Chemical and Biotechnological Processes Division

Dr. Christine Rasche heads the Chemical and Biotechnological Processes division of Fraunhofer IGB. Prior to joining Fraunhofer CBP, she worked for a global consulting firm managing due diligences, feasibility and market studies, as well as evaluating market entries and business cases in bioeconomy. Dr. Rasche has a PhD in plant and wood chemistry and gained technical experience in the field of biorefining concepts, pulp and lignin applications as well as process scaling, while working as a scientist at Fraunhofer CBP and the Technical University of Dresden.
